About Interocean Foods

Interocean Foods Pte Ltd, established in 1997 by Craig Williams, has been actively importing and distributing Chicken, Pork and Beef from South America, the USA, Australia and New Zealand as well as Seafood to various Asian markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.

Craig arrived to be based in Singapore in 1983 after having worked in food trading operations in New Zealand, Australia and Italy. After visiting South America for the first time in 1985 supply arrangements were made with various production facilities in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil with Representation agreements signed with Brazilian Chicken producer Perdigao and Brazilian Beef producer Kaiowa.

In these early years, Brazilian Chicken exports were confined to only Whole Grillers. Then in the late 1980s, we cooperated with Perdigao to develop Chicken Cuts such as SBB, BL and Wings which were vacuum-packed for the first time for retail distribution.

Following on in the early 1990’s we cooperated with Perdigao to have the first Brazilian Pork plant approved to ship to Singapore and developed the range of Pork cuts now so familiar to the market.

 

In 2002 a new relationship was established with Cooperativa Central Aurora in Brazil for Pork and Chicken which remains active today.
